Former area resident Don Toy is making his first movie appearance in the film "A Nightmare On Elm Street (Part 3)," which is being shown at Warsaw's Lake Theatre. Toy has a brief scene, standing in the background during an encounter in a nightclub. He moved to Los Angeles last year.
Steve Plunkett is the first to complete his apprenticeship as a tool and die maker at the new Zimmer USA manufacturing plant in the Boggs Addition. Robert Beam, engineering director, presented Plunkett with a certificate of completion.
Edgar L. Casey, Alexandria, and W.J. Whitelock, Huntington and Muncie, have rented the Beyer Farms building in the 1800 block of East Center Street, where they plan to install a book publishing business.
