    Fourteen bowling teams competed for a total purse of $1,162 in the championship finals of the Steve Ross Chevrolet Doubles. The top four teams divided the money, with $500 going to the winners, Ted Martzloff and Karl Shepherd.

    Lambda Chi Omega Sorority of Warsaw has six members who have been active for at least 25 years. They are Donna Turner, Wilma Barsh, Jo Ann Dye, Phyllis P. Phillips, Betty Robison and Roberta Sowers.

    Mr. and Mrs. Oliver W. Wallace were surprised when their family gathered in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Condict Vandermark for a carry-in dinner, given in celebration of their 69th wedding anniversary. All of these years have been spent in and near Clunette.

    Ed Harris, who some time ago went through the unusual experience of having a needle, which entered his knee a number of years ago, removed from his back last week, had a new experience. Dr. Orville Richer removed a beef bone, about 3 inches long, from his intestines. The bone had evidently been swallowed by Harris.
