    Matt Brown, a sophomore at Warsaw Community High School and starting goalie for the varsity soccer team last year, has been named to the state Olympic Development team.

Soccer players from all over the state participate in the selection process for the team. Only two goalies are chosen.

    Warsaw Elks Lodge 802 has named Jonathan Bruce Alcorn as April "Teenager of the Month," while David Hearn has received the same honor for May.

Both, 18 and seniors at Warsaw Community High School, Alcorn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Alcorn, Warsaw, and Hearn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hearn, Warsaw.

    Pvt. Arden J. Harrold, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gail Harrold, Mentone, is enrolled in anti-aircraft school at Fort Bliss, Texas, not far from El Paso.

His older brother Merl served in the Army in World War II.

    BLOOMINGTON - Russell Bolinger and Charles Butler, of Warsaw, will take part in the musical festival to be presented at Indiana University. Approximately 200 persons, including soloists from Indianapolis and Bloomington, in addition to students of the university, will assist in presenting this outstanding musical program of the year at Indiana University.
