VALPARAISO - Lisa Anspach, Warsaw, has been inducted into Valparaiso University's chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta, the freshman national honor society.
Midn/2nd class Kent A. French, 1975 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, has been named Company Commander of Bravo Company at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md. His duties will include physical and mental training of incoming "plebes" assigned to his company this summer.
A/2c Jack Egolf, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Egolf, Route 5, has been named crew chief of the month at Mather AFB, near Sacramento, Calif. His plane, on which he is chief mechanic, chalked up 155 hours and 20 minutes of flying time. Jack has been making cross-country flights the past two months.
The Oakland Co. from its main office has just notified Fred McKown, local dealer for the Oakland and Pontiac autos, that he is the leading dealer in sales of cities of 10,000 and under for Oakland and Pontiac for the past year.
