INDIANAPOLIS - A Syracuse woman won $9,000 Saturday on the "Hoosier Millionaire" television show.
Valedictorian for Tippecanoe Valley High School is Sheila Shewman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Shewman, Rt. 1, Akron. Salutatorian is Vernon Goodman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Goodman, Rt. 1, Mentone.
Sally Aker, Warsaw, has been elected personnel chairman of Chi Omega social sorority at Ball State Teachers College, Muncie. Sally, a freshman and a member of Association of Women Students, is a graduate of Warsaw High School and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Aker.
Donald Beebe, Warsaw, is one of the six who had their manuscripts selected by the judges entitling them to speak in the Hays Oratorical Contest June 2. The Hays Oratorical Contest is given every year and is open to any man in Wabash College. Beebe is in his freshman year at Wabash College.
