    Tina M. Walls Lawson, M.D., graduated on May 15 from Indiana University School of Medicine with a degree of Doctor of Medicine.

She received her undergraduate degree, B.S. from Butler University, Indianapolis, in 1990, and was a 1986 Warsaw High School graduate. She is the daughter of Bud and Mary K. Walls, Warsaw.

    Highlight of the Warsaw Community High School Junior-Senior Prom was the crowning of the Prom King and Queen. The queen was Coleen Kealey and the king was Joe Nelson.

    Leona Joy Coy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Coy, of Claypool, and Beverly Joan Gall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gall, of Claypool, are valedictorian and salutatorian of the Claypool High School senior class.

May 28 1929

    Members of the Baker Boys' Club were awarded prizes for their work done in manual training during the past school year. The prizes were awarded on the following points: Quality and quantity of work, attitude in class, attitude toward other students and teacher. In high school, Leonard Helser won first; Leroy Snyder and Lester Dunn were tied for second; and William Snyder and Harold Strauss tied for third. In junior high, William Warrick, first; Wayne Outcelt, second; and "Cub" Pittenger, third.
