    1987 Warsaw Community High School graduate and Purdue University junior Stephanie S. Cripe has received the Outstanding Achievement in Accounting Award presented by Geo. S. Olive & Co., CPAs. She is the daughter of Larry and Carol Cripe of Warsaw.

The award, which recognizes the outstanding junior accounting major at Purdue, establishes a $500 scholarship for Cripe. Academic achievement and leadership in campus and community activities are considered.

    A new sales representative has been added to the staff of Warsaw Real Estate Service Inc., located at 201 W. Center St., Warsaw.

Steve Hopper, who resides at Rt. 1, Leesburg, Barbee Lake, is the newest member of the sales staff. Hopper is stock manager for Brennan's Drugs Inc., a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and Indiana University School of Real Estate.

    Principal Millard R. Taylor, of the Etna Green high school, announced the awards presented to members of the 1950 graduating class at commencement exercises last Friday.

Norma Jean Felter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Felter, was valedictorian, and Christine Mason, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mason, was salutatorian.

    At a meeting of the Warsaw High School faculty, Pauline Estep was chosen valedictorian and Margaret Edginton salutatorian for the class of 1925. The commencement exercises for the 74 high school graduates will be Friday evening at the Presbyterian Church.
