    Triton High School senior Katrina Klotz recently signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball at Grace College next fall.

Klotz, a 5-foot-9 middle hitter, captained the Triton squad last season, recording 78 kills and 27 solo blocks.

    Clayton J. Smith, principal at Warsaw Community High School, announced the valedictorian and salutatorian of the 1976 graduating class.

The valedictorian will be Krisztina Bardos, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Denes Bardos, 119 S. Argonne Road, Warsaw, and the salutatorian is Deborah Kennedy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kennedy, 302 RaMar Drive, Warsaw.

    Elma Lu Paxton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Paxton, of south of Warsaw, recently was elected by the campus community as a member of the Manchester College Christian Association, a religious organization on the campus.

    Two rubber balloons, a silk parachute, which took a hydrogen gas meteorological instrument to great altitudes where it registered conditions then brought it to Earth, was found in the woods near the Devil's Backbone, three miles west of Warsaw, last evening by Jack Menzie, son of Homer Menzie, Earl Boggs and Harry Smyth, three Warsaw boys. They will get a $2 reward for returning it intact to Royal Center, Ind. U.S. Weather Bureau.
