    Seniors Mike Meek and Tami Hollar were crowned King and Queen of the Wawasee High School Prom, held at the high school.

May 26 1973

    State Trooper Larry Yeiter received a "Silver Eagle" to be placed on his car as an indicator that he apprehended a car thief, and recovered the vehicle. When an officer receives five silver eagles, he then receives a gold eagle to be fastened to his police car. This is the first award of this kind in Kosciusko County, and Yeiter's first.

    Now showing at Centennial is "Possessed," starring Joan Crawford. Playing Sunday and Monday is "That Hagen Girl," with Shirley Temple and Ronald Reagan.

    Warsaw will be represented at the national high school track and field meet at Stagg Field, University of Chicago, for the first time in the history of the local school.

Donald Stamates, who has hung up some fast time in the 440 yard event, is the Warsaw entry.
