    Wawasee High School announces that the 1990 valedictorian is Christopher Michael Conkling, and the salutatorian is Annette Wilson.

Conkling is the son of Danny and Marcia Conkling of Leesburg and Wilson is the daughter of Paul and Nancy Sands of Syracuse.

    The Twelfth Annual Honor Patrol program was recently conducted at the McKinley School PTO meeting. Debbie O'Brien, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl O'Brien, 901 E. Market St., Warsaw, and Kent Young, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Young, 547 E. Center St., Warsaw, were chosen as the Honor Patrol Girl and Boy of the Year.

    The Home Furniture Mart's "Beat the Band" mystery march was named Monday night by Ronald Warner, son of Raymond Warner, Warsaw. Ronnie correctly named the selection as "March Militaire," and won the jackpot of $35. The program is heard over WRSW.

May 24 1925

    Silver medals for marksmanship given by the State Rifle Association have arrived for members of the Warsaw team, following their excellent shooting at Culver in April, when they took second place in the state shoot.

The medals were sent to Houton Frazer and the following members of the team will receive them: George Mowry, Glenn Harmon, Charles Robinson, Mont Harman and Tom Parker.
