Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Brent Konkle, son of Robert and Ruth Konkle of Warsaw, was recently selected as Sailor of the Quarter aboard the submarine USS Sand Lance, homeported in Charleston, S.C.
Pee Wee bowlers at Gilliam Lanes were honored at a recent banquet. The league is for youngsters from 5 to 8 years old. Roger Millington received a patch for his high games of 141, while Kevin Cummings received the most improved player award.
