While John S. Senger and his son, Paul, of Warsaw, were participating in the recent KEEP clean-up campaign in the county they came up with an unusual find. As they picked up a beer can along the road near the Rozella Ford Golf Course, a garter snake, partially inside the can, let them know of his presence. Sengers found that the snake was stuck and could not get out. It had apparently crawled inside the opening in the can, then was unable to wiggle his way out. Judging from the label on the beer can, the snake could properly be tabbed a "blue ribbon" snake.
