Students of the fifth grade at Warsaw McKinley Elementary School, recently picked up 881 pieces of debris along Winona Avenue from Scott Street to the east edge of the city limits. They kept a record and learned that they had picked up 725 pieces of paper, 73 metal pieces, 43 glass bottles and 40 pieces of miscellaneous items. After their hard work, each one was given a large root beer at the B & K Root Beer stand.
