    Dale Barker, a farmer in Kirksville, Mo., found a shiny balloon in his field that came from Warsaw. Cindy Leslie received the gift from her boss for Secretary's Day and it included a phone number and a note requesting that somebody call her when it was found. Barker, whose home is about 400 miles southwest of Chicago, called Leslie last week.

    Four boys from Bakers Boys Club, 322 W. Main St., Warsaw, participated in a recent statewide ping pong tournament at Lebanon and came home with trophies. Mike Wallace, participant in the 10-year-old age group, third place; Steve Blause, 17-18 group, third place; Roger Hyde, 11-12 group, state champ; and Terry Smith, 10-16 group, seventh place.

    A bravery medal to be awarded to William H. Collisson, 10-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Collisson, of Winona Lake, for rescuing a girl playmate from the lake, has arrived here and will be presented with appropriate ceremonies at the Winona Sunday school morning session. Dr. Gordon and V. M. Hatfield will take part in the presentation.
