Twin brothers, Brian and Todd Dinius, have been announced as co-valedictorians for Triton High School's class of 1987. Brian and Todd are the sons of Mrs. and Mrs. David Dinius of Bourbon and each with a grade point average of 4.0.
Mr. and Mrs. G.F. Phillips presented Kimm Edwards and Karen Sells, with the G.F. Phillips Cecilian Music Award for 1992, following the annual Spring Music Festival at Warsaw Community High School. The award is presented to the senior choral member who is outstanding in attitude, loyalty, musicianship and scholarship.
Pretty Diane Cox, senior valedictorian and daughter of Warsaw's Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cox, is planning to attend Stephens College this fall. Her running mate for highest school awards, Jim Ranstead, class salutatorian, won achievements as an outstanding athlete.
If A.L. Fogel, a teacher in Kosciusko County, had lived in the time of King Saul, he might have been classed as a rival of David for slinging stones. Fogel was known to be able to sling a stone with force and accuracy, but his reputation was made a day or so ago when he killed a fox a hundred paces away with a stone.
