Bert Shinn, well-known Warsaw landscape gardener, celebrated his 70th birthday, in excellent health, still working, and according to Shinn himself, "feeling as good as I ever did in my lifetime. I was born May 10, 1859, in the town of Etna Green and as far as I know I am the oldest living person born in that town."
