    Royalite Warsaw division announced quality technician Larry Brubaker and profile extruder operators Al Streby and Gene George all celebrate 30 years with the company in April.

    Some of the winners in the recent spring exhibit of the Lakeland Art Association are Alice Metzger, Warsaw, best of show; Laura Hill, North Webster, first prize, drawing; and Cynthia Morehead, Warsaw, first prize, oil and photography.

May 11 1956

    Mel Miller, a freshman from Our Town, makes good at Purdue, where he has been chosen chairman of the professional engineer committee of the American Society of Tool Engineers (Chapter 6). This chapter at the university was organized about two years ago for the students interested in becoming future tool engineers. Mel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller, Warsaw.


75 Years Ago

May 11 1931

    A family of five baby squirrels was found snugly hidden away at the bottom of a hole in a mattress by Mrs. Royal Pottenger a few days ago. Pottenger made the discovery when she went to dust and sun the mattress after being stored in the Potttenger Lake cottage all winter. The babies are being fed by Pottenger through a medicine dropper.
