    SYRACUSE - Karen Yoder has been named valedictorian and Eric Hess, salutatorian, of the class of 1992 at Wawasee High School.

Yoder is the daughter of Ken and Ferne Yoder, Syracuse, and Hess is the son of Stephen and Tamara Hess, Leesburg.

    The 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil L. Stump, Rt. 1, Warsaw, will be celebrated with an open house May 15, in the Shrine Building, Warsaw.

Cecil L. Stump and the former Mary Chinworth were married May 12, 1917, at Amboy.

    Bill Keasling, 10-year-old son of Rev. and Mrs. Ernest Keasling, Winona Lake, won a new bicycle by securing more than $192 worth of subscriptions to the YPMS News during the month of February. Bill's dad is YPMS superintendent and editor of the News, a monthly publication of the Free Methodist Young People's Missionary Society.

The bike was red and black with chrome trim and deluxe accessories.

    Robert Shaffer, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Shaffer, Winona Lake, who for several years operated an amateur station at Winona Lake, is now a member of the 29th Infantry and has been in charge of the Infantry Brigade radio school at Fort Benning, Ga., as an instructor. The young man is a radio expert. He now has charge of nine radio stations.
