Eisenhower principal Chris Gensinger will parachute from a plane May 20 as a result of a challenge he made to his students to "Dive into Books."

In January, Gensinger told Eisenhower students that if they read 10,000 books by May 1, he would sky dive 10,000 feet from an airplane. Each time a student read 10 books, he received an incentive sticker to place on a life-size replica of Gensinger. The students read enough books to cover the replica and meet their goal 1-1/2 months early.
