    Students at Claypool Elementary recently sold M&Ms for their spring fund-raiser. Top salesperson in grades three through six was Jesse Hunt, and top salesperson in kindergarten through grade two was Tabitha Zon. Randy Polston is Claypool's principal.

    Missy Bixler was the winner of a three-speed bicycle for her efforts in the American Lung Association Walk-a-Thon held here recently. Other top winners include Lisa Newton, Carl Lauster, Kelly Hicks and Lola Fields.

    Jack Laurien, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Laurien, Winona Lake, was among the 100 Indiana University men students honored at the spring recognition banquet of the I.U. Memorial Union. Laurien, a freshman student, received a service award certificate in recognition of more than 50 hours of volunteer service work he did for the Memorial Union during the first semester of the current school year.
