Rose Gordon Kline sends The Times a copy of the Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Evening Sentinel which contained an item (already published by this newspaper) telling of the picking up of a bottle on the Florida beach that was thrown into Eel River near North Manchester two years ago by John Renicker, who had placed his name and address on a slip of paper in the bottle with the request that the finder write him. The bottle got to Florida by floating along the Wabash, Ohio and Mississippi rivers and into the Gulf of Mexico, where it was carried by the Gulf Stream to the Florida coast. Kline is a daughter of the late Dr. Theodore Davenport and a sister of Mrs. George M. Thomas, of this city.
