Shortly after construction was under way on Biomet's new office facility, team member Bruce Hammer proposed the idea of placing a time capsule somewhere in the new addition to be opened by future team members.
Three Warsaw students recently spent a day at the Indiana Legislature, where they acted as pages for Senator John Augsburger. They are Denise Beno, a freshman, and Andrea and Laura Beno, both eighth-graders at the middle school. The girls are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Beno, Rt. 6, Warsaw.
Betty Fulton, English and music teacher at the Sidney school, stated today that excellent ratings were awarded to Gene Likens and Max Hoffman, both seniors, who competed in the state solo and ensemble music contest at Indianapolis.
Dr. J. M. Jennings attended the dog show at Fort Wayne Tuesday and Wednesday. His springer spaniel, "Gilkey's Queen," took first prize, and his cocker spaniel, "Black Susan," took second prize. Approximately 400 dogs from all parts of the United States were exhibited at the show.
