    A quartet of local bowlers recently turned in outstanding performances at Holiday Bowl. Chris Allen bowled a perfect 300 game en route to a 765 series, David Glass also turned in a perfect outing, using a 300 games en route to a 628 series. Andy Kiser just missed perfection, rolling a 298 game as he finished with a 698 series and Mark Wright fired a 299 to go with games of 223 and 268 for a high series of 790.

    The Cardinal Center Boys basketball team won the "B" division district championship at a tourney at the Notre Dame ACC over the weekend. Team members are Richard Burk, Randy Jones, Rodney Bouse, Benny Benedict, Marlin Grave, Gary Enyeart, Jim Grubb, Jim Newell, Larry Bettinger and Jim Peckat. They are coached by Ron Conley and assistant coaches are Forrest Bouse, John Benedict and Dan Conley.

    James Armington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Armington, West Winona Avenue, is the newly elected president of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity pledge class at Ball State College, Muncie. Jim is a sophomore majoring in business administration.

March 5 1929

    Lucile Coyle was initiated into the Delta Gamma sorority at Indiana University, where she is a freshman. Coyle is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oral Coyle, 1226 E. Market St., and was graduated from the Warsaw High School with the class of 1928.
