    Dawn Marie McGlothin, 16, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen D. McGlothin, Winona Lake, has been selected as a finalist in the 20th annual Indiana National Teen-Ager Pageant hosted by the Adam's Mark Hotel in Indianapolis April 12-13.

    KOKOMO - Harold L. Beecher, Rochester, has been named Indiana Dairyman of the Year at the 86th annual meeting of the Indiana Dairy Association.

Beecher is developer and owner of the world championship milk cow. He and his family milk 65 Holsteins. The world champ, Beecher Arlinda Ellen, is a 1,750-pound Holstein Friesian. Her 365-day production record of 55,661 pounds of milk was established last Oct. 30.

    Mrs. William Scoles and Joellen Mathia, are newly installed officers of the active chapter of the Tri Kappa Sorority. Scoles was installed as vice-president and Mathia as treasurer at the meeting held for which Mrs. Robert Loop, of South High Street, was hostess. The former is filling the office left vacant by the resignation of Mary Kathryn Shoup and the latter will complete the term of Merelee Dennis, who is entering the women's air force and will go soon to San Antonio, Texas.

    Gertrude Engle, North Manchester, sister of Mrs. Mamie Lloyd, Warsaw, will broadcast from WOWO Fort Wayne Wednesday noon at 12:15. Engle is a vocalist.
