    Jonathan Knisely, an eighth-grader at Edgewood Middle School, will be traveling to England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales this summer through the People to People Student Ambassador Program.

    Two "Emergency Medical Technicians Of The Year" were named at the first Multi-Township Emergency Medical Service banquet. Steve Gadson and Jerry Cox were named the first "EMTs Of The Year." Gadson, 27, of Warsaw, is also a city letter carrier for the Warsaw Postal Department. Cox, 37, Warsaw, is a retouching supervisor at R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co., Warsaw. Both men are part-time emergency medical technicians.

March 30 1955

    Cpl. Danny Anglin, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Anglin, Route 5, is en route home from Korea, where he served 14 months with the first marine division. Anglin's work in communications involved installation of telephone lines and switchboards.

    "The Whole Town's Talking," a three-act comedy will be presented by the senior class of Mentone High School April 9.

The cast includes: Donald VanGilder - as Mr. Henry Simons; Frances Rush - Mrs. Simmons; Mabel Sarber - Ethel Simmons; Walter Fenstermaker - Chester Binney; Beulah Kelley - Letty Lythe; Clayton Holloway - Donald Swift; John Matthews - Roger Shields; Lila Wilson, Eileen Mollenhour; Sally Otis - Marjory Baker; Anna Loher - Annie; Naomi Clark - Sadie Bloom; and Kenneth Goodman - taxi driver.
