Winners in Warsaw Christian School's annual science fair are Courtney Rausen, second grade; Joel Downs, fourth grade; Brad Ellenwood, fifth grade; and Steve Slaughter, sixth grade.
Mrs. Alvin Mason has announced that two Triton eighth-grade students, Sara Elliott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Elliott, and Richard Lynch, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Homer Lynch, were named outstanding citizens by their teachers and are the recipients of medals and pins presented by the Tippecanoe River Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, annual sponsors of the Good Citizen Contest.
Donald "Chub" Stamats, who was an all-around Warsaw High School athletic star in the 1920s, congratulated Max Truex, who received the Minear Trophy as the school's best all-around senior athlete this year. Stamats has been head coach at Caro (Mich.) High School for the past 25 years.
Ignota Boggs will entertain six guests at a slumber party at her home southwest of Warsaw. Those who will be present are Edith Silveus, Dorothy Phillips, Lucile Phoebus, Ida Andrews and Celia and Jennie Stellingwerf.
