Tippecanoe Valley Jr. High wrestlers beat Culver 43-23 on Thursday. Winners for Valley included Justin Gearhart, Nathan Shewman, Louie Vining, Derrick Harter, David Reese, Josh Hill, Lucas Cox and Mark Wortley.
Six youths were among many to be recognized during the Kosciusko County 4-H Achievement Record book program recently. They are Rebecca VanSchepen, Kim Demske and Cindy Davis, junior book division; Cindy Tucker, top book winner; and Jeryl Baker and Mark Demske, blue ribbon winners in the junior division. Tucker was the recipient of a $50 savings bond.
Milford High School basketball players have elected Glyn "Sonny" Hamilton as their honorary captain for the 1954-55 season just completed and have chosen an all-opponent team composed of Jim Stouffer, Pierceton; Dick Long, Etna Green; Dick Morris, Claypool; Jim Jones, Akron; and Bill Nagy, Jefferson Township.
