Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Winona Lake Deputy Marshal Steve Espinoza was congratulated by town council president Brent Wilcoxson at Tuesday's meeting after recently graduating with honors from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
Winning the top three places in the 1981 Kosciusko District Pinewood Derby were Cub Scouts, Mike Lowry, Pack 3729; Tony Clark, Pack 3819; and Adam Grey, Pack 3767.
Mrs. Thurlow "Hoppy" Hoppus, of Winona Beach, brought a beautiful bouquet of pussy willows to The Times-Union. This is an annual affair and we always know that spring is near when Hoppy arrives with the first batch of pussy willows. We have faith of the nearing spring weather this year, despite the snowy weather of the past week.
