    Claypool's Donald Wiesehan won a high standard .22 short caliber Olympic ISU pistol by capturing the international Rapid Fire Pistol tournament March 7-8 in Tampa, Fla., during the National Mid-Winter Pistol Championships. Wiesehan beat out 45 other competitors by getting 564 points out of a possible 600.

    Claudia Kreicker's prep basketball days are completed, but the honors keep rolling in for the Warsaw Community High School senior. And the latest is the biggest yet.

It was learned that she has been named to the fourth annual Parade high school all-American girls basketball team, one of 40 girls selected to the squad. She has also been invited to play for the North team in the North-South Dial Classic game at Kutsher's Country Club, Monticello, N.Y., May 25.

    Delegates at the Business and Professional Women's Club spring conference at the Westminster Hotel re-elected Ruth Hubler, of Warsaw, to another term as district director and chose Mary Jane Shepler as district nominee for the state nominating committee.

    Charles M. Thayer who is a senior at MIT, sometimes called Boston Tech, and who two months ago was made manager of the official school organ "The Tech," was further honored this week by being elected to the "Stylus" MIT Journalistic Society.
