    Youngsters took advantage of springlike weather to play on the equipment in a park alongside Pike Lake. Temperatures reached the mid-60s Monday and were expected to climb back to that vicinity again today.

    Mrs. Gordon Johnson, the former Pam Hartle, is visiting her parents, the James Hartles of Warsaw, while hubby is on duty in the South Pacific where he will be involved with the Apollo 16 mission. Lt. Johnson's chief duty will be to fly one of the Apollo 16 astronauts and moon rocks from the USS Ticonderoga to Hawaii after splashdown and recovery following the lunar landings.

    Able and veteran school principal Frank Sanders to begin one of 10 annually scheduled sightseeing trips with students representing Claypool and neighboring school classes. Frank's first trip takes a group of Sidney students to Chicago.

    Warsaw citizens will be permitted to witness the first inspection of the local militia boys of Co. L, tonight at 7:00 by a regular army major at the Community Building. Tonight the militia boys will make their first appearance in full service uniform.
