    MILTON, Fla. - Navy Ensign Norman A. Metzger, son of Norman E. and Karen Metzger, 1611 Dot St., Warsaw, was presented a letter to acknowledge he was on the Commodore's List being in the top 2 percent of all graduates from Primary Flight Training.

Metzger was attached to VT-6, NAS Whiting Field, flying T-34C Tubor Mentors.

    Warsaw Business and Professional Women's Club honored Ruth Hubler, its president from 1945-47, as woman of the year during the club's golden anniversary celebration.

Onda Harris, first vice president of the state BPW organization, made the woman of the year presentation following a banquet and speeches by local club officers and state officers.

    William Yarger, 1321 E. Main St., Warsaw, has been pledged recently by Alpha Phi Omega, national service fraternity, at Purdue University, Lafayette. Yarger is a sophomore in chemical engineering.
