    The Tiger Cubs Boy Scouts of America Pack 3767 from Lincoln School were given a tour of the Warsaw Police Department Thursday evening. The high point of the tour was when their guide, Cpl. Paul Schmitt, brought his police cruiser around and described its features to the boys.

March 25 1973

    Jenny Cox, a Wawasee High School freshman, won the trophy during the first state IHSAA girls' gymnastic finals at Indianapolis. She won firsts in vaulting, unevens and all-around and second in floor exercise. During season competition the 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cox, Syracuse, won 27 first place ribbons and one second place ribbon.

March 25 1948

    Harvey Boggs, Milford, was displaying proof that spring is here. The proof was a large sponge mushroom found on the William Hall farm in the Clunette neighborhood.

County mushroom "hunters" have been on the alert since the mercury surged above 50 a few days ago.

March 25 1923

    A runaway automobile electric horn which started sounding and refused to stop caused much amusement on Buffalo Street this morning. Volunteers from business stores rushed out after the horn had sounded some minutes and Russel Phillipos succeeded in stopping it.
