    FORT WORTH, Texas - Two teachers and two students from area schools were named Tandy Scholars in the Tandy Technology Scholars program.

Ronald Smith, a teacher at Triton High School, and Mike Bott, a teacher at Warsaw Community High School, received certificates naming them Tandy Scholars. Amanda Lemler of Triton and Jules Lin of WCHS were the students who received certificates.

    Pfc. Rolf Tusing, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Tusing, Rt. 6, Warsaw, is taking advanced training in communications with the U.S. Marine Corps at Pensacola, Fla.

A 1975 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, Pfc. Tusing entered the Marines and completed basic training at Parris Island, S.C., before going to his present station in February.

    It was learned today that The Warsaw Shamrock 4-H Club has elected Barbara Wolford president for this year.

The other officers for 1951 are Beverly Platt, vice president; Martha Fawley, secretary; Sabra Menzie, assistant secretary; Molly Phillips, treasurer; Sandra Hale, assistant treasurer; Joan Robinson, health and safety leader; Carolyn Phillips and Donna Stiffler, leaders; and Ronnie West and Glenn Mitchell, recreation leaders. The adult leaders for 1951 are Mrs. Orville Platt and Mrs. Ronald Phillips.

    Formal opening of the Stephenson store, recently greatly enlarged by the addition of a ground floor department, new front and completely remodeled with new fixtures, counters, etc., saw more than 1,900 persons visit the establishment on Saturday. More than 1,100 carnation flowers were given away as favors. Sixty-five new spring dresses were sold despite the rush of visitors.
