Ray Levy, who lives on East Market Street, was interviewed by Mike Leonard on NBC's "Today" show. Levy related some of his experiences of 51 years with the Fuller Brush Company. Levy's brother, Ralph, was also interviewed about serving 54 years with Fuller.
A revised weather forecast at mid-morning today warned of heavy snow, windy and cold weather in this area with accumulations of up to 3 inches of snow by early tonight. The < 202>Times-Union< 217> thermometer was holding steady at the freezing mark late this morning as a heavy rain pelted the city.
It was youngster's perennial favorite "hamburger sandwich" ordered by beautiful Bobby Jo Minear, 4, while dining with father, Bob, at local downtown cafe. Bobby, anxious to start to school, wore pretty blue coat, white stocking cap with tie-on mittens to match, has prettiest blue eyes we've ever seen.
A horse belonging to Joseph H. Cabter near here is 34 years old and is still going strong. Ordinarily, a horse begins to age at 12 years, but this horse still maintains its pep without any "fixing." It is a little bit old-fashioned, however, for it shies at automobiles.
