    Whitko's Chad Christman, Warsaw's Brandon Creighton and Manchester's Chris Singpiel have all made the Top 100 list according to Garry Donna, publisher of Hoosier Basketball Magazine.

The Top 100 list will be narrowed down to 40 individuals who will then participate in one of two workouts and hope to make the Indiana All-Star team.

March 23 1974

    Dick Jordan, Atwood, received an impressive trophy from Fred Gilliam, owner of Gilliam Lanes, for his fantastic bowling efforts recently during sanctioned league play. Jordan rolled a perfect 300 game and finished up with a 700 series after coming up with additional scores of 215 and 185. Both marks were firsts for Jordan, who became the first local man in two years to compile a 300 score.

    Dan Schafer, former principal of the Tippecanoe Township schools in Marshall County, Tuesday began his duties as Marshall county superintendent of school. He succeeds Deane E. Walker, whose duties as state superintendent of public instruction began Tuesday.

    Marcus Kilbourne, probably the oldest resident of Kosciusko County, will celebrate his 96th birthday anniversary on March 19. Kilbourne has been a resident of or near Warsaw for the past 40 years.
