    A rebelling 4-year-old son who balked at washing his hair gave Columbia City resident Dick Babcock a marketing idea so simple he wondered why no one else had thought of it. His creation is Shampoo Creayted for Kids. The shampoo is packaged in crayon-looking plastic bottles.

    Dr. C.C. DuBois, a former Warsaw physician, mayor and civic leader, said he never felt better during a party held in honor of his 94th birthday anniversary. "I don't have any pain, and I don't have any responsibilities either," he added with a wink.

    Monday bock beer was put on sale in Warsaw and Kosciusko County and throughout the state. It's a reminder that spring is near at hand, for only at that season is the heavy-bodied beverage available.

March 22 1922

    Deputy State Fire Marshal Graham, of South Whitley, sent to Warsaw today to inspect buildings, recommended that the tower on the old Baptist Church building, now the city hall, be torn down. His attention was directed to the tower's dangerous condition by councilman John Hansman, chairman of the fire committee.
