    Students from Warsaw Community High School recently received recognition in the 1993 Scholastic Art Show.

Zeb Stevenson, a junior, received a first-time hallmark nominee award for WCHS, as well as the gold key award. Other gold key award winners were junior Byran Goodpaster, senior Tim Kugler and freshman Amy Miller.

March 19 1978

    Twenty-one fifth- and sixth-graders from Kosciusko County schools competed in the annual spelling bee at the First United Methodist Church, Warsaw. Andy Camp, 10, received the gold loving cup for winning the first round of the spelling competition. The Washington Elementary School fifth-grader is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Camp, 1717 Briarwood Drive, Warsaw.

March 19 1953

    Eloise Marie Bilby, Warsaw, and Miriam Lee Bernhardt, Winona Lake, were among 95 freshman students of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, Indianapolis, who received their caps in an impressive ceremony in the White Cross service center on the hospital grounds.

Eloise is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bilby, while Miriam is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenz Bernhardt.
