Light and Life Press, the in-house printing facility for the Free Methodist Church of North America, Winona Lake, recently was ranked as having one of the largest printing operations among nonprofit groups in the United States, reported In-Plant Reproduction and Electronic Publishing Magazine.
The FFA Sweetheart contest was held in the Triton High School auditorium, Bourbon, recently with seven girls competing. The winning trophy was presented to Robin Moschel. Sandy Kitchen was last year's winner.
The first Pythian Sister Lodge of the World was organized and chartered in Warsaw 60 years ago in 1888. In honor of that event, officers of the present temple, Warsaw temple Pythian Sisters Number One of the World, were presented a plaque Friday night in appropriate ceremonies, in a joint meeting of the Sisters and Forest Lodge Number 46, Knights of Pythian.
A leak in the interurban high tension wire at the switch, just south of town, has put so much static electricity into the air that Leesburg's numerous amateur radio outfits have all been put out of commission and the boys are all praying the interurban company will be prompt about making repairs.
