    INDIANAPOLIS -ÊNational Poison Prevention Week kicks off Sunday with an awards ceremony for children's poster contest winners in Petticrew Auditorium at Methodist Hospital of Indiana, Indianapolis.

Among the winners is Russel Albert, a fifth-grade student at Atwood Elementary School. He will be given a second place award for his poster.

    Showing this week at the Vore Cinemas are "Oh, God!," starring George Burns, John Denver and Teri Garr; "Saturday Night Fever," staring John Travolta and Karen Lynn Gorney; "The Goodbye Girl," starring Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason; and the Mel Brooks comedy, "High Anxiety," with Madeline Kahn, Cloris Leachman and Harvey Korman.

    Ray Knight, who resides with his wife on King's Highway, Winona Lake, in February was voted steward-of-the-month for the entire Pennsylvania railroad system.

    Members of the Leesburg Reading Club entertained members of the Leesburg Literary Club and other Leesburg women in the auditorium of the school house. Mrs. Elmer Funk, Warsaw, gave a most interesting bird lecture. During the social hour which followed, delicious refreshments were served by a committee of which Hallie Bortz was chairman.
