    Teresa Price was congratulated by Jon Blackwell, owner of JB's Furniture, Warsaw, after winning a living room set. Price was among those who bought $10 tickets in the drawing to benefit Kosciusko County Juvenile Shelter, which recently constructed a new facility. Price, in turn, donated the furniture - a sofa, love seat, end tables and coffee table - to the youth home.

    Serving as pages in the Indiana House of Representatives for State Rep. Thames Mauzy (R-Warsaw), were Chris and Cindy Wheeler and Dennis Dye. Chris, 14, and Cindy, 18, are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wheeler and Dennis, 17, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Dye.

Pages aid the legislators by delivering messages and assist the staff of the House of Representatives by distributing materials such as bills, committee schedules and mail.

    Warsaw High School's varsity basketball members have elected seniors Lavon Harman and Don Wolfe as co-captains for the 1955-56 season just completed, Coach John Stauffer announced.

Harman, a four-year regular center, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Harman. Wolfe, regular forward, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Lamar Wolfe.

March 16 1931

    A cow belonging to Charles Stroupe, who resides on the William Schand farm six miles southeast of Warsaw, had an eight-legged calf born Saturday. The calf had six front legs and two hind legs.
