    Ted Huber was named the new head football coach for Warsaw Community High School Tuesday afternoon. Huber played his high school ball at Bremen and later played at Ball State University. He comes to Warsaw after spending the last three years as an assistant coach at Northern Illinois University.

March 12 1973

    Dennis Junnings, sophomore, 1322 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, was one of 98 students named in "Operation Outstanding" at Butler University. The students were chosen by fellow students and the faculty on the basis of academic achievement and extracurricular activities.

March 12 1948

    Mrs. Ruth Hall, Winona Lake, daughter of Mrs. Fred King, won the "Wishing Ring" contest on the Tom Brenneman "Breakfast in Hollywood" program broadcast Wednesday morning. Mrs. Hall is visiting her sister, Mrs. Winifred Landa, of Hollywood.

    The new issue of postage stamps, the 2-cent denomination, has been placed on sale at the Warsaw post office. The stamp bears the likeness of George Washington and is an improvement over the issue just discontinued here.
