    The Clio Literary Club held their March meeting at the home of LaMora Longyear with Virginia Longenecker as co-hostess.

New officers elected were as follows: president, Donna Hahn; vice president, Sue Brennan; secretary, Betty Kaye-Smith; treasurer, Marceil Conley; and press reporter, Eldora Neher.

    Christine Redington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. Redington, Warsaw, received her nurse's cap on Feb. 10 at Parkview Methodist School of Nursing's 25th annual Capping Ceremony. Redington is currently a freshman at Parkview.

    Mrs. Dale Nellans presented the project lesson, "Room Decoration," to the members of the Beaver Dam Franklinettes Home Demonstration Club at the meeting held at the home of Mrs. Don Hoffman, Akron.

"Happiness" was the subject for the meditation period, led by Mrs. Wilvin Teel. Mrs. George Cumberland and Mrs. Richard Whittenberger sang the son of the month, "Softly Now the Light of Day."

    Margaret Edgington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Edgington of North Union Street, and a student at Otterbein College, Westerville, Ohio, has been elected vice president of the YMCA there for next winter, which will be her senior year. This honor includes a trip to Lake Geneva, Wis., next summer. Edgington is also assistant circulation manager for the P. and C., the college paper.
