The Canasta Club meeting was held at the home of Donna Werstler on March 1 with six members present.

High was won by Bev Garman; low, Donna Werstler; and door prize by Ruth Menzie.

March 11 1980

Samuel J. Whitaker, 29, of Warsaw, has been hired as a jailer for the Kosciusko Sheriff's Dept. and is expected to begin duties this month.

Whitaker has been a Kosciusko County Reserve Officer for one year and was in the county reserve force's training program.

March 11 1955

Leonard Bibler, 25, youngest son of Mrs. Vera Bibler, and the late Leroy Bibler, has joined the staff of the Bibler Funeral Home as a licensed embalmer.

Bibler is a graduate of Warsaw High School, Temple University and Eckels College of Mortuary Science, both of Philadelphia, Pa. He is married to the former Barbara Fawley of Warsaw.
