    Justin Miner served as a page to state Sen. Kent Adams in January and plans to visit Parliament in London in June.

He is a seventh-grader at Lakeview Middle School and the son of Mike and Linda Miner, Warsaw.

June 9 1980

    Bessie Replogle, the 1979 Kosciusko County Senior Citizen Queen, crowned this year's queen, Anna Williamson, in a recent ceremony at the Center Lake Pavilion in Warsaw. Williamson, who resides at 1407 Tanager Drive, Warsaw, was among five candidates vying for the 1980 senior citizen queen title.


50 Years Ago

June 9 1955

    One Our Towner has been made happy after the loss of his cherished class ring more than 21 years ago. He is Lewis Luckenbill, of south of the city, whose former classmate, George Linvill, returned "Lucky's" ring lost for more than two decades.

Lucky lost the ring in the front yard of his home. The present finder, Linvill, was playing in the yard with Lucky when he first lost the ring. In later years George Linvill and his family occupied the former Luckenbill home. One day last week George was raking in the yard when he dug up his classmate's class ring.

    A domino party was held by the members of the Business & Professional Women's Club at their club rooms. Martha Stoner was awarded first prize and Emma Durbin consolation.
