    The Merry Tones Extension Homemakers Club celebrated its 30th anniversary with a buffet and style show in the Home and Family Arts Building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds. Charter members Lana Miller, Donnabelle Thomas and Freda Sellers were present, as well as county Extension agent Joan Younce, county Extension president Carol Baker and past county Extension president Louise Nichols.

    The Upper Room recently held its final series of activities for the season and the boys all emerged as club champions or runners-up. They are Larry Stutzman first in pool; Bob Hamilton first in paddle hockey; Tim Himes first in ping pong; Tim Dombeck first in checkers; Tim Smith second in checkers; Stoney Hall second in pool.

    Warsaw Times city carriers and subs began competing for awards for outstanding delivery services in contests sponsored by the Inland Daily Press association and the Warsaw Times and Union.

June 9 1924

    The members of the Kosciusko Rifle Club team, who shot in the pistol matches at the state shoot held at Culver Military Academy in April, today received handsome medals from the Adjutant General's office, the team having won second place in the state contest. The members of the team are George Mowrey, Glenn Harmon, David D. Hoffer, Tom A. Parker and Houton C. Frazer. George Mowrey also won second place in the individual championship match.
