    The team of Les Krider, Deb Nicol, Tony Fleckenstein and Karen Mayer shot a score of 123 to win the best 2-of-4 balls Memorial Day event at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club. Don Merryman, Jim Calhoun, Jim Fulwider and Jim Staulcup shot 125 to place second.

    Sheryl Stogsdill, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Claude Stogsdill, Warsaw, was a member of the 1975 Bethel College graduating class. She received the Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education during the recent commencement held at Goodman Auditorium, Mishawaka.

    Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kelly, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hodges and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Landis, of this city, have returned after spending the week-end near Traverse City, Mich. They brought back four bushels of morel mushrooms.

June 8 1925

    Some remarkable scores were made by members of the pistol teams of the Kosciusko County Rifle association, who last night shot off their end of the match with the Wilkesbarre, Pa., pistol team and secured a total of 899 out of a possible 1,000 points.

George Mowrey led the Warsaw team with a score of 190 out of a possible 200. Charles Robison took second with 181, Tom Parker third with 178, Mont Harmon fourth with 176 and Clem Harmon fifth with 174.
