Warsaw Middle School eighth-grader Aaron Wilson had his sculpture, "Abstract America," selected to appear in the 61st annual National Scholastic Art Show, a rotating exhibit taking place this year in Cleveland, Ohio. Wilson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Wilson, Route 7, Warsaw.
The latest in projections screens is being manufactured by Da-Lite Screen Co. Inc., Warsaw. The new product can be used to show slides from the front by the rear projection method. The advantage of rear projection is that the slides can be shown in normal room light, yet retain a razor-sharp and rich-colored image.
At long last, the big domino tournament at Breading's Cigar Store has ended. Crowned champions are Forrest Dederick and John Robertson, both of Warsaw, who bested Marshal Griswold and Harold Hartman, also of Warsaw, in a hectic final session. Dederick and Robertson won 10 out of 17 games to win the title.
Millard Stookey, living northwest of Leesburg, is building a modern dairy barn. Mr. Stookey for some time has devoted his attention to butter-making and supplies his product to the consumer. The new building is to be complete with electric milking and packing machines, churns, etc., so that nothing is touched by hand. His farm will be known as Prairie View Dairy.
