HALLENDALE, Fla. - Amanda Whitney, a native of Warsaw, was recently named Player of the Year after a standout senior basketball season.
Dick Cole, president of the retail division of the Greater Warsaw Chamber of Commerce, presented Lillian Nine with the 500 Give-A-Way dollars she won in the recent promotion sponsored by the chamber and retail merchants. The script money is redeemable for merchandise in 45 local stores who participated in the contest.

Dr. F.C. Tucker, Claypool, will leave by automobile Thursday for Raleigh, N.C., where he will take a six weeks' course in poultry diseases in the laboratory of Dr. B.F. Kaupp.
