    Lincoln Elementary School recently awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award to Anne Jarrette and Jake Hartle, while Michelle Fisher and C.J. Allebach were chosen as this year's honor patrol at Lincoln. Anne is the daughter of Terri and Jim Jarrette. Jake is the son of Lynne and Shane Hartle. Michelle is the daughter of Kerri Fisher, and C.J. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Allebach.

    SOUTH BEND - For the first time since 1972, a Warsaw Community High School golfer will be competing in the state tournament.

Scott Sebo, a junior who has been playing in the No. 1 position all year for Warsaw, fired a five over par 75 at the tough Erskine Golf Club to finish third individually and earn a trip to Indianapolis next week.

    Allen Ohmart and Cloyd Dye Sr. are retiring as teachers after rounding out a total of 46 years in the Warsaw Schools.

The two were honored at a recent dinner given at the Hotel Hays by members of the Warsaw Classroom Teachers Association.

    The pupils of Mrs. Russell Phillips, Warsaw, presented a musical recital Sunday afternoon at the Christian Church in Milford. Those from Warsaw who took part in the recital were Forrest Dederick, Vivian Myers, Eleanor Novak, Ora Hildenbrand, Audrey Davis and Gloria Jean Phillips.
