It has been a spring full of state champions for the Warsaw community. First, Kerry White won the 800-meter run in girls track. Then there was the Warsaw girls softball team taking the state title earlier this month.

The latest Warsaw native to hold the title of state champion is 8-year-old Kimi Love as she won the YMCA state gymnastics title last Saturday for the 7-8 age group.

On Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. the people of this community will have their first opportunity of viewing the new Overland Whippet, which is the first European-type car to be built and offered for sale in the United States. The local dealers, Munson Overland Sales, following a nationwide advertising campaign, are now permitted to show this new car to the general public.

The new Whippet has been on their show room floor for the past few days, entirely covered over from view until the appointed hour, at which time every Overland dealer in the country will uncover his car for public inspection.
